Journal of American Folklore

From 2019-2020, I served as the Editorial Assistant for the Journal of American Folklore, the flagship publication of the American Folklore Society.

As the Editorial Assistant, I worked with the Editors at every stage of the publications process. This included processing submissions, copyediting, communicating with authors and the University of Illinois Press, and editing and finalizing proofs, juggling up to three issues at a time and as many as 12 articles and reviews per issue.
